Japanese painter Riusuke Fukahori paints what appear to be three-dimensional fish floating in water.
I love the effective and simple process he uses. By pouring a small amount of resin down and then painting ontop of this and repeating the process, he is able to create 3D forms using a 2D painting technique.
I love how this technique uses the concept of modern 3D printing but holds onto the tactile quality of painting. See how he does it the link below
