I may be a little late with this post as its far to good for you not to have seen it.

This piece is perfect in so many ways, Simple, affordable, engaging, interactive, tangible, aesthetic …. but most importantly to me it approaches surface as a medium in itself.

The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, had a show by artist Yayoi Kusama  , it featured a constructed a large domestic environment, painting every wall, chair, table, piano, and household decoration a brilliant white. Over the course of two weeks, the museum’s smallest visitors were given thousands upon thousands of colored dot stickers.

The installation, entitled The Obliteration Room, is part of Kusama’s Look Now, See Forever exhibition that runs through March 12.
